This assignment was to create labels for any product of our choosing.
I created a serious of candles for a year-round collection of popular scents from each season. To do this I had to find popular seasonal scents. While also researching what is more popular on labels, what the consumer wants to see that best relates to the scent they are picking. I used pictures I took myself for the visuals of what the scent will be. I did this so when the customer sees the jar it is immediate of what the candle smell will be. Using borders around the type to frame it and give attention to the center. I also created the warning labels for each and placed them on the backs of the jars instead of traditionally on the bottom because I didn’t want the warning label to go missed as they hold their own importance.
